The NY Times
Besides waiting for Sam Sifton's make-it-or-break-it reviews to come out every Wednesday in the dining section, the Times also features upcoming food events for a weekend in NYC every Friday

Restaurant Girl
Danyelle Freeman's food blog, with everything food related in the NYC area you can imagine, from restaurant reviews, chef interviews, to best local eateries.

Insatiable Critic
The website of the lovely Gael Greene, one of NY's most influential food writers.  Her site contains her recent restaurant reviews, recipes, photos, and travel articles.

Gilt Taste
An online food magazine by Ruth Reichl, former NY Times restaurant critic and former editor for Gourmet magazine.

Before I check out a new restaurant I always check to see if videos have been posted about them yet.  Great way to experience new places beforehand.

An amateur cook and food enthusiast who has cooked every recipe from Fergus Henderson's cookbook "The Whole Beast" at home.

Sonia Hunt
A serious foodie with some serious food allergies.  Her website contains recipes, chef interviews, travel blog, and meet-and-greet event dates.  Oh, and she's absolutely gorgeously stunning as well.

The name says it all.  Lawrence has been writing this blog since 2007, and covers everything food related in NYC.
